It says a lot about the character of the kids and coaches of these teams.

Good job getting the girls off the field and the fans out of the stands. Safety first. Kids play sports because they find it fun. Eliminate the fun and soon you eliminate the kid.

I think the girls always enjoy Andy's annual scavenger hunt, one of the great team-building exercises in South Carolina HS girls soccer. Thanks again for the kind words. Very spirited match last night, ecstacy for the winners, agony for the losers. As you said, under the circumstances, both teams handled it very, very well. We will see how much we have left in the tank for Greenville. Kids play sports because they find it fun. Eliminate the fun and soon you eliminate the kid.
