Looks really strange to me that there is not a single BE player on this list. This team has some good players. What does the committee look for in making these selections? Is the voting only open to 2A coaches?

Oh God here we go...

players have to be nominated by their coach..The coach needs to be on the committee and third..The coach needs to be present for the selection process..

Why no single BE player in 2A All-State Team?

No players were nominated. We did receive an email from Coach Khouri at 12:33 pm yesterday nominating several Bishop England players, however the meeting had already disbanded as it had started at 10:00 am. The nominations were due on Wednesday, May 11 at 5:00 pm.

The coach has to nominate their players...that is all they have to do...the committee chooses from the players nominated..their coach must not have nominated any players

Maybe the coach didn't think any of his players were worthy of all-state this year. Just because you go to Bishop England doesn't entitle you to all-state status!

Yeah, crappy AA all state team, there were more good players that should have been nominated and werent. For example Silver Bluff beat Barnwell 3 times and there were no Sb players in there and barnwell had 2, so hopefully the list will be better next year

How unfortunate for those SB and BE deserving players who were not nominated on time. So sad especially for the seniors. Hopefully this will be handled better next season.

Make no assumption that this is my coach. I raise the issue because BE is the # 1 seed in lower state and I would have expected to see at least one player from that school on the All State Squad.

totally agree..coaches have to se these things thru..Being the best does not always get someone on the list..
