SCYSA Coaching Symposium/Special Topic: "Social Styles"

Program: The two day session is designed to introduce the youth soccer coach to the proper use of proven behavioral science research done on the use of the “Social Science” model. This special topics coaching course will help the coach build more effective team play while strengthening interpersonal skills with parents, players and officials.

Facilitator: Dr. Carlos Sabbagh

Dr. Sabbagh is a native of Colombia, South America who has lived in the United States since 1961. He is currently the president of Edca Corporation, a holding company composed of several organizations one of which is The International Leadership Institute an organization dedicated to business strategies and consulting. Previously he worked for Wilson Learning Corporation, an international company that specializes in human resource development.

Dr. Sabbagh has conducted seminars in Latin America, Europe, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, and Canada for such organizations as Picker International, Daimler-Chrysler, Ford, Nissan, Dow Chemical, Caterpillar and Alcoa. He possesses strong expertise on such topics as interpersonal relationships, managing emotions and self, sales strategies and communication strategies.
