The Raising Cane's Carolina Classic, hosted by Wando High School, will be held this spring February 24-26, 2012 at the Patriots Point complex. We are looking for 12 competitive teams to participate. Myrtle Beach High School has confirmed their spot in the Raising Cane's Carolina Classic. That makes 10 confirmed with 2 spots remaining in a very competitive preseason tournament.

Wren High School out of Piedmont, South Carolina has committed to the Raising Cane's Carolina Classic. They were Region 1 4A Champions last year with a 16-6-0 record.

This leaves one spot left to fill the 12 team tournament. If interested or have any questions about the tournament please email me at shilo_tisdale@charleston.k12.sc.us.

Still looking for one more team to fill the tournament. With the teams committed the matches are going to be great. The competition is going to allow all teams participating to see where they stand among the best and what needs to be improved upon through the season.

Hilton Head will not be participating in the Raising Cane's Carolina Classic. Looking for 2 more teams to fill the tournament.

I am excited to announce that the same weekend of the Raising Cane's Carolina Classic is the Carolina Challenge Cup hosted by they Charleston Battery. Teams participating in this tournament are D.C. United, Chicago Fire, Columbus Crew, and the Charleston Battery. Teams participating in the Raising Cane's Carolina Classic will be given a special ticket price of $10.00 per person to attend all matches. I am also working with the Battery on additional benefits for teams participating. We still have two spots left until November 28th where we will then send out the official schedule.
