Brookland-Cayce will host the 15th Annual Bearcats JV Kickoff Classic this weekend (March 2-3) in Cayce. Matches are scheduled to be played at The Cage, B-C's on-campus facility, but if weather is severe, we may move matches to Granby Education Center (1407 Dunbar Road, Cayce 29033).

BCJVKOC Coach -- I have received feedback from each school and it looks like if we have to postpone matches from Saturday due to the weather, then we will just plan to follow the same schedule on Sunday at Granby Education Center (1407 Dunbar Road, Cayce 29033).

The positive is that tonight looks fine. As for tomorrow, there is a 90% chance of thunderstorms. Severe storms and\or showers are predicted from the early morning hours, and look to be most intense between 6:00-9:00 am, and continuing throughout the day. Our staff will make a decision around 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning and post on our website at www.scsoccer.com/bcsoccer as well as via email notification to you and on the SCSoccer.com Message Board thread -- http://www.scsoccer.com/forum/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=153576&an=0&page=0#Post153576. Please alert your players/parents to this as well.

For tonight, we ask that you limit your pregame warm-ups to the area between midfield and the penalty area. Please warm your GKs up outside the 18s and only use the goalmouth when attempting shots.

If we do indeed play at Granby this weekend, here is some useful information for you:

1. Bus parking will be located behind the school. Only school buses will be permitted to park behind the school.
2. Parking is available in front of the school and on the far side of the facility opposite the soccer field.
3. We will only have one entrance for the matches. Restroom facilities are available.
4. A limited concession stand will be available under the weather shed behind the asphalt court area.
5. Bring chairs! There is very limited seating at Granby, so please tell your parents to bring lawn chairs.
6. Teams will be located on the west side of the field parallel to Wilkinson Street.
7. There is a warm-up area on the east side (asphalt court & spectators side)
8. The field measures 120x62 -- so it is wider than The Cage!

If The Cage is suitable for match play Sunday, then we will move the final at 6:00 pm back to The Cage.

Thanks for your cooperation!

Due to inclement weather in Cayce currently and expected through the next 18 hours, the Saturday schedule has been postponed until Sunday with the same times and schedule.

However, at least the morning matches will be moved to the Granby Education Center and the afternoon placement games site will be determined on Sunday. More information will be available at www.scsoccer.com/bcsoccer
