Really? Explain how Discoveries can put a team in National League in an age group where they have won absolutley nothing ever, talk about the problems with soccer in America-here it is in a nutshell, POLITICS! Its not about rewarding the States best teams and players just those who have parents (or grandparents)who are connected. WHAT A FARCE!

Sure, it would be the 95 boys who are currently playing in the sub-region and are tied with SC united.

Which is the problem- in all other sports you want to showcase your states most talented players- it seems in Soccer (in the US) you reward kids whose relatives are "connected" and not really the most talented. Do you think that the state wanted Jadaveion Clowney repping in the Shrine Bowl or some scrub with connected relatives from Rock Hill High. This is but one of the myriad of reasons soccer is still a non-starter at the highest levels in the US.

They appear to be ranked 2nd in the state on gotSport.com, behind CESA 95 ofcourse
They appear to have been the State Finalist in State Cup 2011.
They were Finalist in Atlanta Cup last month.
They also seem to be doing well enough in the Region 3 premier league(3rd place out of 10 teams).

I imagine that CESA 95 is also playing in the National league. So my question is what other team in SC is more deserving than Discoveries B95 to participate in the National league and why?

You would be wrong in assuming that CESA 95 is in National League even though they have NEVER EVER lost to Discoveries 95 and are ranked 1st in the State and are currently ranked 4th in the Regional Premier League while DSC is ranked third in the SUB-regional premier league.

Ok this is totally ridiculous. I was of the opinion that CESA 95 was in the national league. Lvrpul, you are absolutely correct this doesn't pass the sniff test. Is it possible that CESA was offered this opportunity and they turned it down? Otherwise, they should definitely escalate this somehow. I think these kinds of un-fair practices continue to happen because there are no whistle blowers. The coaches and parents of this team should stand up demand answers and bring this to the surface for the sake of the CESA 95 players.

CESA was not offered the opportunity and not only is this unfair it is also unethical. The proper people at the NCAA have been made aware of how this possibly occured and will be making inquiries into people under thier jurisdiction who may have "pulled strings" in violation of NCAA rules to "gain an unfair advantage".

You think the NCAA actually gives a [censored] about club soccer? Heck, they can't clean up AAU hoops and 7-v-7 football camps.
