Airport High School is once again holding our varsity girls soccer tournament here at Airport High School. The dates are March 23rd and March 24th (Friday and Saturday). Each team is guaranteed 3 games with a 4th game being a possibility. The entry fee is $175. It's our goal to match you versus teams that you don't normally play against. We try our best to keep you away from region opponents and/or regular season opponents.

I am trying to confirm that one of the 16 teams is still planning on attending--as soon as they answer my mail or phone call--i will start the scheduling--if they cannot attend--we have 2 teams on a wait list to fill that spot.

I am fairly certain that I had the chance to coach your daughter at the North/South all star game a few years back-- she was a very talented soccer player! Where did she end up playing in college?

Yes you did. Junior at Gardner-Webb. Tore ACL in final week of regular season..10 minutes into the game with UNC-Asheville. Had surgery 1st week in November...doing well.

Glad to hear she is recovering well from her injury.

The 2012 Lady Eagle Classic will showcase talented teams from across the state. This is a good opportunity to see top-ranked teams from different areas, including Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Augusta, Rock Hill, Columbia, and Greenville/Spartanburg.

Hilton Head plays Woodruff on the top field and Airport takes on St James. Both games will start at 915pm and both winners will advance to the semifinals tomorrow

St James wins 2-1 over Airport to advance to semfinals. Hilton Head wins the last quarterfinal 6-0 over Woodruff.

The above games determine seeding for consolation matches to be played later in the day.

SEMIFINALS:
Both games will be played at 12pm.
Field 1: North Augusta vs. Hilton Head
Field 2: St. James vs. Dutch Fork

Winners advance to the Championship at 7:30pm.
3rd Place Game will be played at 6pm.

Due to impending weather both teams have agreed to cancel the championship match and end the tournament as co-champions. We would like to thank both dutch fork and Hilton head for their patience and cooperation in making this decision
