The Richmond Kickers have announced they will be covering the costs of players on their U.S. Soccer Development Academy teams. Can anyone comment if SC United Battery are going to be able to offer this free as well? If it's free, I can see more kids wanting to do this, but a $20,000 soccer experience is pretty steep. Parents would be better-suited saving that kind of money to help with college costs in the future.
Also, I wonder what kind of salary/stipend Cowlishaw is getting for coaching the DA along with the USL Pro team. What is the salary for the current DA staff at SC United Battery?
