Interesting read came to me today. Kinda ironic since I am currently training a good right footed winger to run the left side and cut in to use right.

great find, I was introduced to this when my son's club coach placed him at left wing (he is right-footed) his first season. It was interesting to watch. The left fullback would overlap or provide the width support and vice-versa on the right. When everyone is moving into space as they should it looks beautiful, of course when one link breaks, then it gets ugly, fast

Teach them to use BOTH feet, and the conversation is irrelevant. Bottom line: Better players find success on BOTH sides, allowing coaches flexibility in tactics and/or match-ups.
