On Wednesday March 21st Dorman High School and the Dorman Soccer Program suffered a great loss in the passing of former player Jake Towne. Jake was a 2010 graduate of Dorman High School and a 2009 member of the boys varsity team. Jake was a wonderful person who always brought a positive attitude and tremendous work ethic to the field. His smile, compassion, and desire to be the best friend, player, and teammate he could be will never be forgotten. Please remember the Towne family in your thoughts and prayers as they face this terrible loss.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 24, 2012, from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Dunbar Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 25, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Spartanburg.
