That's good news. I'm sure Coach Fryland will be pacing the sidelines with his Lady Cats very soon. His team feeds off of his passion and energy and they will be a tough out in the state play-offs. Good luck Lex!

If Greenville wins, wouldn't that extend the possibility of a 3 way tie for second (3 teams at 6-4 dependent on final games to be played)? If EHS wins, wouldn't they lock up second?

Somebody is paying attention. Yes, DD, you are right. The possibility exists, albeit rather remote.
Before G'ville and Eastside resume their match on Wednesday, EHS will already have played WHHS and secured the expected win to lock up 2nd. WHHS has probably little interest to compete too hard for second seed because on paper the playoff route for #3 and #4 looks somewhat easier than for #1 and #2 in R II.
But then again, these are only assumptions. Therefore you are right - a 3-way tie behind first is still possible.

Seems I remember a few years ago Riverside going into Sirrine Stadium for a final game with Greenville expecting a win to claim the championship only to be upset resulting in an EHS championship. That conference has a way of making final gameday exciting. Congratulations on the 1st place lock.
