good question, love to hear also, I started in September and it seemed that was a little too late, although not sure when everyone gets their conference schedule
I know the coach at Camden has his region schedule and is working on the schedule for next year already. What some coaches do is get commitments from other coaches to play and then when they get region schedules they start looking at dates.
Region 1 4A schedule is completed by the end of the current school year and most of the coaches I know (including myself) are pretty much complete by the end of the coach's clinic in late July. This year will be tough with realignment. In our case we will have 8 teams in region 1 so only room for 2 non-region regular season varsity matches. Therefore, we will be forced to drop some long standing non-region opponents.
