Fort D is peaking at the right time. Though I wouldn't attach too much significance to the margin of SA/JI. 1) In single elimination, it's survive and advance. The score only means something if it reflects and injury or other significant issue. 2) JI actually got to be pretty good by the end of the year. Wando beat them 2-0, and it was 0-0 or 1-0 until the final minutes.

@backscreen17 I agree fort d is a good team with dangerous players. No center mid is as good as Lameroux in the state.

You need to clarify that statement-the four best 4A teams in the state- I beleive all but Irmo have lost to teams in 3A,2A,or 1A and Irmo lost to Wando and Lexington therefore they would NOT be the four best in the state

I have personally been on the sidelines with 3 of the 4 teams remaining in the upperstate. But I would like to know what you think would be the best game to go watch tomorrow? Mann v NW or Clover v Irmo. Whats everyone thinking?

Mann/NW , other one could get out of hand

NW v JLM - JLM goes through, theyve got the players to do it and NW isnt what it used to be.

Clover v Irmo - Do we really need to talk about this one. Unless the soccer gods are upset with Savitz for something, Irmo all the way with this one.

SA v Fort D - This one could be interesting. I think SA's offense has more goals than any other team this year, but they get scored on a lot. Defense is awful over there and I believe Devin is the one to exploit that weakness and pull his team through to the next round.

Wando v Ashley Ridge - Really wouldnt mind seeing the upset in this one, Wandos getting kind of ridiculous. Plus I dont like when one team is said to win state with barely a challenge. AR in this one. Some how.

South Aiken keeper gives up less than a goal a game. Scoring goals against them is not an easy task. Fort Dorchester must score 3 goals to win. Only Cardinal Newman and Myrtle beach have been able to do that in a tournament before spring break.

Winning at South Aiken might be as tough as winning at Wando.
