How did this game go, sounds like things got a little heated. Anyone there have any comments about the game?

summerville and hilton head has become a little bit more of a rivalry with hilton head coming out of the previous couple of games with the win and the match is always a heated one. the refs down there suck and let the game get out of control and from that point teams lost their cool. the refs in hilton head have always lacked a little something. its unfortunate becasue it was a good match. congrats to the summerville keep on coming up with a big stop. next matchup should be another good one.

Don't know if the same refs are used, but the refs for Pinewood's games with HHP, HHC, and Beaufort Acad. are a joke.

In particular Ol' Hop-a-long ref. The man has no business trying to do high school soccer. He cannot keep up with the play.

I read in The Island Packet about the bench clearing brawl, red cards/ejections, furious comeback by Hilton Head, etc. Sounds like one heck of a match last night!

Paruthed, you have some nerve making up names for a man with a disability. That's just wrong man.

Chill Will- this man's arrogance and favoritism for the home team wiped out any compassion anyone on the visiting sideline could have for him.

I am sure that he is a useful and productive member of society, but there is no way he should be trying to call a high school soccer match. He is physically unable to keep up with the play. With a three ref system, he could get away with it. With the two refs, no way.

Summerville vs. Hilton Head have defiantly got a rivalry going. The game was tense from the very beginning and it showed by there being a fight. The only bench that cleared during the fight was Hilton Head's. Their fans and bench were totally out of control. The game itself was very exciting, with a story of two completely different halfs. Summerville controlled the ball and the play in the first half and with goals coming from Miller and Bennett. But in the second half after the fight we became too conservative and gave up two goals. Wogamon was nasty in goal on the PK and during the entire game making numerous saves. We wouldn't have won without him and our defense playing so well.

Very good game, very foolish brawl. 9 suspensions for HHI tell the story, I bet that this will negatively effect their season and ranking! Where is the control............
