The annual Bearcats JV Kickoff Classic will be held February 28-March 2, 2013 at The Cage on the campus of Brookland-Cayce High School. Below is the boys tournament schedule:
Thursday, February 28
Match #1, 6:00 pm – Hammond vs. White Knoll
Match #2, 7:30 pm – Brookland-Cayce vs. Ridge View
Friday, March 1
Match #3, 6:00 pm – Blythewood vs. Lexington
Match #4, 7:30 pm – Cardinal Newman vs. Spring Valley
Saturday, March 2
Match #5, 8:30 am - M#1 vs. M#2 Losers
Match #6, 9:45 am - M#3 vs. M#4 Losers
Match #7, 11:00 am - M#1 vs. M#2 Winners
Match #8, 12:15 pm - M#3 vs. M#4 Winners
Match #9, 2:00 pm - 7th Place - M#5 vs. M#6 Losers
Match #10, 3:15 pm - 5th Place - M#5 vs. M#6 Winners
Match #11, 4:30 pm - 3rd Place - M#7 vs. M#8 Losers

Tourney Information
• Team Entry Fee = $175 (due February 6, 2013). Mail check to: Brookland-Cayce High School, 1300 State Street, Cayce, SC 29033
• Tournament Pass = $14
• Match Ticket = $5
• 30-minute halves; 7-minute halftime; straight to penalty kicks if tied – but match will be recorded as a tie and advancement/placement is determined only by the penalty kicks
• Granby Education Center may be used in the event of inclement weather
• Teams listed first wear light colored jersey

Championship match kicks off at 6 p.m., between Brookland-Cayce and Lexington. Both teams are 1-0-1 in the tournament and advanced to the Finals with draws in the winners bracket today by virtue of penalty kicks.
Tonight will be a rematch of the 2012 Finals which the Wildcats prevailed 3-1. Lexington has won the tourney four times (2012, 2008, 2007, 2003) and reached the Championship in 2010. Brookland-Cayce has tallied three championships (2006, 2002, 2000) in eight previous Finals appearances.
