The 2013 Irmo JV Tournament dates have been set with the flyers attached. Please start letting me know if your team will be attending both or one of these events. Last year over 60 teams that played in these events. This is a great opportunity for your JV program to get additional games and play teams you may not play during the regular season.

Pre-Season JV Tournament
Feb 23rd & 24th / Sat & Sun

End Of Season JV Tournament
April 19th & 20th / Fri & Sat
NOTE: SCYS State Cup is April 27th & 28th

Next Saturday starts the JV tournament and I wanted to send you some things to update you about the event. Please read this info and make sure and past this onto your parents.

> Tickets will be sold upon entering the tournament on Saturday and Sunday.
$8 for a Saturday pass
$8 for a Sunday pass
$15 for a weekend pass

> Buses will be guided as to where to unload the players and then where to park.

> Trainers will be available to help assist you.

> Water Coolers will not be available so please make sure and bring your on water cooler for your team. There will be a place to refill your coolers at the Irmo Practice Fields and in the Stadium

> Tournament T-shirts will be on sale at the tournament. Cost $15. Design is attached. Team names will be placed on the back.

> Tournament schedules and scores will be posted on the South Carolina United FC web site:

Schedules are not posted at this time but will be up shortly.

> Reporting scores will be done by each coach after each game. Please call me or text me at 446-4504. When reporting the score please include the game time and division.

> A scoreboard with games, field layouts, and results will be posted at the Irmo Practice Fields.

> A team trophy will be presented after the final game to the Champion and Runner Up in each division. Along with a team trophy an MVP award will be awarded to the Champion team only selected by the winning coach.

This email is to update you on a number of updates about the Irmo JV tournament. Please read and make sure to pass this to your players and parents.

> Updated Tournament Schedule Attached - Anything in Yellow has changed
> T-Shirts are now $12
> Admission is $6 a day for Sat or Sun / $10 for weekend pass
> Bring water cooler with water. Only the practice fields will have a place to fill up your water coolers.
> Bus parking in front of stadium - for all fields! Buses can drop off at PF but go to stadium lot to park.

Presently, the tournament is schedule as is Sat & Sun. OPTION A PLAN

We are aware of possible bad weather and will make a call Friday evening on playing on Sat. OPTION B PLAN.

OPTION B PLAN is if we have to cancel all the games on Sat then Sun schedule would be the Sat schedule playing on Sun. (Same fields & times) Everyone would only then play two games and there would be no division winners. Since weather has been an issue the last couple of weeks we fill this would at least give everyone a chance to get two tournament games in before the season starts.

OPTION C PLAN would be looking at the fields on Saturday afternoon and having to cancel the tournament.

Option B has been initiated as of 3:30 on Friday. Saturday's schedule will now be played on Sunday.

Coaches,

We have looked at the fields and are sending you this email to let you know we are planning on playing the Irmo JV Tour on Sun. Presently, we are in Plan B and will make a final check of the fields on Sun at 6AM.

The practice fields are wet and we are asking that all teams to have no warm ups on the fields itself. There is space to be able to warm up your teams off the field. Please help to make this happen so that we can us the fields just for playing.
