I see that Norman has 27 players on its Varsity roster, I wonder if all of them suit up on game day? How large a crew did they bring with them for the tournament?

Poor Dreher.......playing Norman and without their top keeper! Maybe they will have to play all defensive game and not try to score. It may still end up at least 7-0.

Cardinal Newman was originally scheduled. But the Bishop decreed that neither Cardinal Newman nor Bishop England could participate due to it falling on the Holy Week. This is the second year in a row that BE was unable to attend. Next year, the Palmetto Cup will be the week following Easter. Dave

If Hilton Head gets by Ridge View, which they will, then they will be in semi v. Norman with best chance of any team to compete with them.

Yes, I have to agree ^. In the Christ Church/Hilton Head game HH played superbly, they were making great passes and they made no crucial mistakes that ever gave CC a good shot. It was 2-0 until about stoppage time when a HH player booted one in from about 20 or so yards out. But nonetheless HH dominated possession and deserved this victory...

But I still do not know if they can overcome Norman. Of course you probably heard that Dorman was crushed 9-0 and that is about right. But watching the game it just seemed so effortless on the part of the NN players, I do not even recall how they scored all of those goals! They were very fast however, kicked some great balls, excellent in the air and were very intense on the attack. My brother said he counted out about 8 guys in the box on one attack!

My prediction (if HH goes on, I haven't seen Ridge View play) HH 1 NN 3.

I haven't seen any games, but it sounds like a team must need a great defense to stay with Norman. The other semi between SV and Riverside should be good, and both SV and Riverside have good defenes.

I was very disappointed with the Riverside vs Porter Gaud game. What happened with PD team they only had 10 guys play in the game. I am surpise that the score was only 4-0 because it was 3-0 15 minutes into the game. it is just frustrating that I payed 8$ (myself and my wife).

I think the final is going to be Riverside vs Norman. That will be great I hope.

2-0 Norman over Dreher. Dreher must have had a red card as well.
