It seems that the "back up" for Dreher did ok.2-0 vs. Norman-North is not quite the 7-0 you predicted. 1-1-1 in a tough draw with 18 players is fine with us. Have a nice day and make sure you know what you are talking about before posting..... [Razz]

All scores are being updated back on both pages 2 and 3 of this thread. All box scores are being updated as we find the time in the press box. Check back every half-hour to hour for scoring and schedule updates.

Dreher played quite hard. NN had 18 shots to Dreher's 4, Of those 18, Eric Helms made 12 saves -- a couple of really outstanding ones. Dreher received a straight red for a punch thrown and indeed lost 2 points.

Well, I guess I could be wrong here if there is something I'm missing but these are the teams I THINK are guaranteed in.

Group A: Riverside--uh, they beat everyone in their group.
Group B: Summerville/Spring Valley--I think it comes down to whoever wins this one will win the group.
Group C: Hilton Head--they beat everyone.
Group D: Norman North (OK)--beat everyone, pretty much dominated all but one.

It's Group C vs. D (should be a pretty good game IMO)

And of course the two remaining groups A and B. Have to pull for Riverside there. This has been a pretty interesting tourny though to say the least!

You are correct. The schedule is up-to-date with pairings on both pages 2 and 3.

Uh oh. Riverside is a good team, I enjoyed watching them play but I think NN is too much for them. Riverside will have to play a virtually flawless game and get some breaks to win against this powerhouse. Perhaps NN deserves it since they haven't given up a goal yet (this is correct right)! And have played consistently well but hopefully you guys agree this cup shouldn't be won by a non Carolina team! I have nothing serious against NN but I have to pull for Riverside.

My guess though...NN 3 RHS 0

I, personally would like to see a team from SC win the title but i think it is great for the tournament and the state that we are attracting teams like this to the state.

final score... NN 2 Riverside 0 ... decent game but NN possessed the ball very well and for most of the game... beautiful rip by NN that hit the corner of the post but out... both sides were very physical and not afraid to do a little acting for calls a couple of times... 1st half was a pretty even match but 2nd half was all in favor of NN. they wanted it more it seemed like. and it showed on the scoreboard as they scored both goals in the 2nd half... one 6 or so minutes in and the other about 5 minutes before the end of the game if i am not mistaken... many fast players and both teams moved the ball around well... good game to watch...
