Nice comment from The State! quote: Q: Patrick, I saw the Palmetto Cup comment from the person in Norman, OK -- I can assure you that ALL scores/results were e-mailed to The State in a timely fashion. Disappointed you didn't attend the event, but I appreciate The State for staffing two games and running the scores/results/schedule.
A: Hey everybody, Kyle's the go-to man in South Carolina when it comes to soccer info. Check out his site at www.scsoccer.com It's the best-run, most up-to-date prep site in the state. By far. Thanks Kyle.

Chase Rowell, the reason the All-Tournament Team has not been posted is because several coaches are on Spring Break and have not had a chance to e-mail their nominations. I can assure you that whenever the list is finalized, we will run the honorees in this thread. Thank you for your patience.

Kyle, Kevin and all others, I only saw a few games, but it was once again a great experience. It means a lot to fans/players when things are in place, on time and organized; and all the guys have to worry about is just playing good soccer. Thanks again for your hard work and I know it will continue to be a highly-regarded tournament. I would like some northern teams consider it for a warm, spring break. Have any teams from up north, besides Va., ever shown interest, Kyle? That would be interesting to see their style of play, etc.

For a northern team would it count just as a preseason game since their season is in the fall?

2004 Palmetto Cup All-Tournament Team
Note -- this is an incomplete list, because a good number of coaches have not responded due to their Spring Breaks between April 11-17.
Brookland-Cayce -- Kevin Ros, SO, Defender ------------------------------------------------ Dreher -- Eric Helms, SR, Goalkeeper ------------------------------------------------ Greenwood -- Tyler Davis, JR, Midfielder ------------------------------------------------ Hilton Head -- Mike McCullion, JR, Goalkeeper ------------------------------------------------ Lexington -- Dom Pierallini, SR, Forward ------------------------------------------------ Norman North -- Scott Gillis, SR, Midfielder Norman North -- Jimmy Anderson, SR, Midfielder Norman North -- Jake Krattiger, SR, Midfielder, MVP ------------------------------------------------ Pinewood Prep -- Roger Kodrzycki, SR, Forward ------------------------------------------------ Ridge View -- Mark Weston, SR, Forward/Midfielder ------------------------------------------------ Riverside -- Patrick Bueno, SR, Defender Riverside -- Anthony Consonery, SR, Midfielder ------------------------------------------------ Spring Valley -- Chase Rowell, SR, Forward ------------------------------------------------ Summerville -- Todd Wogamon, SR, Goalkeeper ------------------------------------------------ West Florence -- Walker Gaddy, JR, Defender ------------------------------------------------
Christ Church, Dorman, Pendleton, and Porter-Gaud did not finish in the top three of group play, so those teams did not receive a spot on the All-Tournament Team.
