8 AAAA has 4 spots because we are back to a 6 team region.
6 AAAA and 7 AAAA each get 3 spots because they only have 5 teams in each region.

Region III-AAA

1. Chapman 9-1
2. Broome 7-3
3. Union County 6-4
4. Woodruff 5-5

I admit my mistake....sorry 8-AAAA!

Cane Bay has tie breaker over west Ashley.

Region II-3A

Mauldin beats Riverside 4-2 last evening.

Region 2-AAAA

2. Mauldin 11-9-1 (9-5)

4. Gaffney 11-9-2 (8-6)
5. Wade Hampton 11-6-1 (8-6)

BTW - How are tie breakers determined? For instance, Gaffney and Wade Hampton have same region record (8-6). They each have a win over the other, but WH has a better goal differential than Gaffney when they played each other (3-2). They did play each other a 3rd time in a tournament with Gaffney winning on PKs, but supposedly that game is excluded from conference W/L record. So based on that information it looks as if WH should be ranked ahead of Gaffney. Can anyone explain? Thanks.

9AM Friday: Boys AAAA Brackets on SCHSL.org seem to be incorrect in regards to Region 8-AAAA seeding.....

They are incorrect, the HS league has entered the girls standings on the boys page. I have asked Skip to review and correct.

Region II AAAA has a point system as their second tie breaker. You get 8 points for beating the first place team, 7 for the second and so on. We beat Dorman twice (who finished first) so that jumps us ahaed of WH on points.
