While there is a lot to be said for (and about) the district-wide per student expenditure numbers, as cited in the Moultrie News, the real issue ISN'T why Wando's per student expenditure is so low, but rather, why per student expenditure at so many under-achieving CCSD schools is so high.
Waiting for someone here to make and support the case that the East Cooper communities, including McClellanville (Lincoln) can/should secede from CCSD schools.

great post & courier front page sunday breakdown of all the numbers & salaries of the states school districts. Dorchester 4 has 2208 total students. I don't get the stupidity.

adding another layer of admin salaries/office rent & overhead would suck. maybe just better representation?
