Club teams can practice whenever they want there are no seasonal restrictions the only restrictions are for club coaches who are also high school coaches and that is in regards to the number of their HS players that can be on their club team- the largest club teams usually don't employ HS coaches

I think it's best if clubs do have HS coaches. Unless you're truly elite, and not just branded "elite," most players top level will be HS soccer and there is nothing wrong with that. In fact, if you're just an above average HS player, you can pretty much find a college to play at. Now D1 is different, except for Upstate , but D2 is pretty attainable. If you won't to go to a small school. For the majority of players, HS will be their pinnacle so I think it's good to have the HS coaches involved. There are some good HS coaches out there, just like there are some bad club coaches. Just cause they get paid pretty well that doesn't mean they're that much better. In fact, I know some pretty sad coaches in club and HS.

We didn’t underestimate them. They were a lot better than we thought.
