Wando High School will host the Raising Cane's Carolina Soccer Classic February 21-23, 2014 at Mount Pleasant. The preseason tournament has been staged every year since 1999 and has only had two canceled events due to weather (2008 & 2013). The tourney is held at the Patriots Point Athletic Complex (see below), which features five soccer fields as well as the College of Charleston's Soccer Stadium.  Coach shilotisdale@yahoo.com is fielding an eight-team tournament and has commitments from the following programs (2013 Massey Power Ratings): Academic Magnet (11), 2A Semifinals, 15-4 Brookland-Cayce (23), 3A Quarterfinals, 21-4 J.L. Mann (3), 4A Quarterfinals, 19-2 Mauldin (28), 4A Second Round, 12-10-1 Myrtle Beach (12), 3A Second Round, 18-4 Pinewood Prep (9), SCISA 3A Finals, 16-4 St. Joseph's (6), 1A State Champions, 18-3 Wando (1), 4A Second Round, 22-1

J.L. Mann has committed to the Raising Cane's Carolina Soccer Classic. Mann finished last year with a 19-2 record. This is proving to be the most competitive preseason tournament hands down with the teams participating total win/loss record in 2013 being 141 wins and only 29 losses.

The Raising Cane's Carolina Classic has been moved from the weekend of February 21th-23rd to February 28th - March 2nd. All teams have confirmed they still will be participating.

The tournament was excellent! Well run, fields were in the best shape that I've seen them in some time, athletic trainers were helpful, and the officiating (at least in our matches) was solid. Great job Shilo and staff!
