2014 WISA Women's College Showcase Camp
June 29th - July 3rd
This summer will be the 7th year of the Wingate International Soccer Academy College Showcase. Following the successful feedback from both players and coaches alike, it promises to be a fantastic week.
The benefits for the players are second to none:
They get to experience a week in a competitive soccer environment first hand- exactly like the one they will experience in college. games throughout the week in a competitive league bracket
Unlike other camps, they will work with the college coaching staff every day in both practices and games.
They will also get a feel for the Wingate University campus by staying in the college dorms, hanging out in the student center and even eating in the school cafeteria. Attend a recruiting seminar advising you the best steps to take
For Coach Wiggins, the chance to work with prospective Bulldogs is extremely beneficial. “It's a great week that provides a lot of opportunities. Apart from watching and working with players in both a practice and game set-up, we also get to see the personality of the players, which is something you cannot necessarily tell at a tournament or by watching film. We offered nine players who attended last year camp, athletic scholarships and that highlights the goals and functions of the camp. I am really looking forward to this summer.”
