As a casual observer, and since there seem to be a lot of BH guys on this board, what is the key for the playoff push for the Hawks?? I mean, what is it going to take to beat these 2-A teams and get a high seed in the playoffs???

I am thinking offense is the key. #9 and #7 are too good to be losing games 2-0 and 3-1. New Coach needs to find a way for them to score some goals.

Yo, we defeated Wade Hampton (H) 4-2 tonight. #7 had three goals. We started playing in a new formation, and it worked tonight.

I play for Wade Hampton (hampton) and B-H beat us. They are a very good team. #9 and #7 are very good. I hope they go a long way in the playoffs. I am proud of them doing so good this year. I will be pulling for them! Good Luck Hawks!!

Why won't your coach put El up top with the other two black guys? Ya'll could score so many more goals.

I agree, we played with El on offense against West Ashely and won. He is so much faster and can shoot harder.

Listen....good luck to BH and WE and all you other guys at 1A lowerstate playoffs, but you don't stand a chance at state. Whoever gets there whether it's SCS or CC you're gonna get it handed to you badly.

Yeah, but it wouldn't hurt to try. If CC didn't recruite then that would be a different story, now wouldn't it?

Well CC is our rivals and I absolutely hate it that they beat us, but I honestly say that all the players on their team pay to go there and I have seen no signs of recruiting on the soccer team. I will say though that there's a few guys that are completely full of themselves when they have no reason to be. Yeah they beat us and are better than all the 1A schools, but that's not a huge deal. I think some of the heads on that team are just a little too big for having a losing record. I don't care how hard their schedule is, if they were truly "that good" then they wouldn't lose.

In my opinion, Christ Church is the only team better than any team in 1A. Southside can't hand anything badly to the other quality 1A teams, and that's been proven (i.e. Dixie). So hopefully you guys can win the upper state, and play BHHS in a VERY evenly matched final.

I saw we vote CC off the island... Get rid of the strong ones first! =P
