Mann has 15 athletes sign with collegesFor the girls, Bailey Ellis signed with Newberry, while goalkeeper Molly Lynch made her commitment to the University of Miami (Fla.) official. For the boys, Michele Bottari signed with Clemson while Mason Gilpin will continue his career at Navy.
Bottari played as a freshman at St. Joseph’s before playing 10-month club soccer the past two seasons. But he will suit up for Mann this year and he has one goal in mind before before becoming a Tiger.
“We’re going to try to go back (to the state finals) and beat Wando (who defeated Mann in 2014 and 2012),” Bottari said.

From the Spartanburg Herald-Journal
DORMAN Cassandra Pankey signed with Wofford soccer. She said joining the Terriers was the best choice for her. “I had a lot of other schools in mind, but when I visited other schools the classroom setting wasn't right for me,” Pankey said. “It's when I got to Wofford when I actually knew this was the one.”
BOILING SPRINGS Laurel Parris signed with Converse College soccer. She has been a varsity starter since her freshman season and was a member of CESA's Under 18 team.
BROOME Alex Mathis, an all-state selection in both soccer and track and field, signed with Limestone College. Mathis is the Centurions' career scoring leader in soccer. She also runs the 800 meters in track. She said she hopes to continue her unique dual role at Limestone. “I talked to the track coach and they are open to me doing both,” she said. “I could probably go further in track, but I love soccer.” Mathis said Limestone began recruiting her when she was a sophomore. She said she visited other colleges, but eventually realized Limestone was the place for her. “I know I can excel there both athletically and academically,” she said.
CHAPMAN Ben Noe signed with Limestone soccer. He's totaled 46 career goals and 31 assists and has been a four-year captain. He's a three-time all-region selection and reigning player of the year.
