If two teams have same region record, split head to head results, and have no goal differential in head to head competition - how are their positions determined for playoffs?

Each Region has its own set of tie-breaker rules. Check with your coach or athletic director.

Region 1 AAAA uses the following:

1. Head to Head among teams tied
2. quality wins in region. This is a point system with 7 points awarded
for a win over the number one team and a 1 for a win over the last
place team.
3. Goals allowed in region
4. Average win percentage of all opponents

Interesting and your region could potentially have three teams tied at 11-3. Good luck with that.
