correct me if I am wrong, did not Skip cover at the rules meeting that JV must follow the varsity rule relative to ties being settled via OT and the PKs as is varsity.

Yes, JV and V have the same OT and KFTM procedures for all games unless mutually decided and agreed upon before the game between both coaches. My personal opinion is,i wish SCHSL would just decide to let JV play 2-35 minute halves and they end in a tie. JV has no playoffs. It is about student athletes getting out there and playing. This would allow every Varsity match to start on time.

If it can be "mutually decided and agreed upon before the game between coaches" then why is it a rule. I think they either need to make it a rule and everyone has to follow it or do away with it and no one does it.
I was talking to a parent last night and his daughter's jv team went to 17 rounds of pks. Is that good for the game?

Our team had 2 ties this season. Both coaches agreed to finish the game in regulation. Funny thing was we didn't have any varsity games following us. I thought that there would only be OT &/or PKs if it doesn't delay the varsity game
