2-0 at half. Great game by both teams. Andrews had chances to score, just could not find the back of the net. Great effort by the Waccamaw keeper and defense to keep it scoreless. Waccamaw is a talented team.

Chapin 1 - Eastside 0
Really physical game that was very poorly officiated! A very bad penalty given to Chapin which, to their credit, they capitalized on. Though it should not have been a PK. The ref really let it go way to far with the physical play on both sides and just very inconsistent calls. What is a foul now is not 15 seconds later. And even though Chapin was the beneficiary of the PK, I dont think their fan base would disagree that over the game, it was very poorly officiated. A very evenly matched game that should have been settled by the players and not the official. Great careers for those Eastside seniors! Good luck to Chapin the rest of the way.

Not bad but still have to give Wando the nod. 8 straight trips with a potential for 9. 6 out of 8 wins. This would be fourth straight trip and third in a row if they win it all .Plus 4A
JL Mann girls track going for fourth in a row. Eastside wrestling probably has a run like that.

Check out the Riverside run in the 1990s... 7 in a row and 8 out of 9. Riverside girls won every state championship in their classification from 1991-1999 except for a very good Eastside team in 1998.

Forgot about the great Riverside run...I barely remember the 90s! No question about Wando being consistently at the top...just can't remember if they ever won that many straight without a break in between.
