WILMINGTON, NC - The 2015 Region X Men's Soccer team was announced on Oct. 31 during the Region tournament. SMC placed seven players on the All Region team.
Earning first team honors were sophomores
Elma N'For (Camerron, Africa / Western Hills High),
Jordan Moreno (Gainesville, GA / West Hall High) and Freshman
Malcolm Frago (San Jose, Costa Rica / Issac Martin High).
Sophomore
Waldo Cepeda (Mount Pleasant, SC / Wando High) and freshman
Hector Guttierrez (Asheville, NC / A.C.Reynolds High) earned second team honors.
Kwaku Dwemena (Lorton, VA / Hayfield Secondary) and
David Koprowski (West Columbia, SC / Brookland-Cayce High) were honorable mention.
SMC finished the season with a 13-5-1 record overall and 11-5 in Region X action.
