Are Lexington and Wando 1-2 in the Lower State? How do they get seeded to meet each other before the Lower State final?

Pre-bracketed.

If Lexington and Wando advance to the Quarterfinals then the Wildcats would host the Warriors.

On the other side of the Lower State bracket is Region 6 winner West Florence, which would host the Lower State Finals if the Knights advance to the Semifinals. Fort Dorchester is the Region 8 champion and could meet WF in the Quarterfinals - the winner of those #1 seeds would host the Semis.

That is a dumb way to do it. Lexington doesn't host all the way through? No value on regular season record? Just have to win your region? Is someone just too lazy to seed teams properly?

Yes, many high school ADs who only care about football. Not only that... Basketball (a non-contact sport according to those same ADs), are only allowed to play 2 games a week in the playoffs because of how tired the players may get, yet... Soccer (a contact sport according to those ADs), play 3 games a week in the playoffs, sometimes back-to-back because of stormy spring weather.

The soccer coaches association should take control of everything from allowing ties in the regular season, to seeding for playoffs (as they do for 1A and 2A)

And, semi's should be at neutral site, not just finals.

I agree that semis and finals should be neutral. Heck, I'd like to see the SCHSL do away with first/second round games and simply have home/away and do aggregate.

If the weather had not let up tonight, there was a good chance, a team or 2 would have to play 3 straight. High chance of rain tomorrow in my area. If tonight's game was cancelled, then an unplayable field due to rain the next day, you stand the chance of playing Wed, Thurs, Fri. How fair would that have been?
