Sincere and huge congrats to coach Savitz on his 700th win and a 1st state championship for the River Bluff Gators. Couldn't have happened to a nicer man in a more fitting place at his old stomping grounds at Irmo.
They were all over us from minute one and just never let up. Couldn't get any foothold into the game. 24-1 for a reason. Sorry we couldn't give the fans a closer game but still immensely proud of where our program has come in 3 shorts seasons of my tenure. Started 3 seniors tonight so we will be stronger mentally from this. No one can take away an Upper state Championship and the experience for the Clover community of an appearance at a State Championship.
Once again, a real pleasure to be on the big stage with such a legendary High School coach and proud of my lads for a heck of a season.
