Capital City Cup: Preseason Boys Varsity Tournament in the greater Columbia, South Carolina area.

Quad-Hosted by: Brookland-Cayce HS, Cardinal Newman HS, Chapin HS and River Bluff HS.

Dates: February 22-26, 2017 (Wednesday-Sunday)

Number of Teams: 24; Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of three matches.

Tourney Shirts: Each team will be required to purchase a minimum of 18 tourney shirts at a cost of $15 each. The shirt order size is due February 8, 2017 and the fee is due February 21st.

• Efforts will be made to avoid region and regular season matchups.
• Match sites will feature three artificial turf fields as well as three natural grass facilities at Brookland-Cayce, Chapin, and River Bluff. In addition, two natural grass fields will be utilized at the new Cardinal Newman HS athletic complex.

***Tie-Breaker: Head to Head Goals; Goals Allowed; Goal Differential (up to 5); Goals Scored (up to 5); Penalty Kicks
***Championship will be played on Sunday afternoon at River Bluff HS

Congratulations to River Bluff on their second consecutive Capital City Cup Championship! The Gators defeated Mauldin (2-0) in the final for the second straight year.
