Thank you for your continued efforts to grow the game of soccer. We know you are busy with your seasons kicking off but we were hoping you could help spread the word about some quality college soccer being played here at South Carolina. The men’s and women’s season is just around the corner and we are excited to kick things off next week!
We would like to invite you to our Fan Appreciation Open House next Tuesday, August 16th from 5pm to 7pm. Come out and meet both teams, tour our new locker room and training facility, purchase season tickets and if you are already a season ticket holder, this is your first opportunity to pick up your season ticketholder gift: a limited-edition Gamecock vuvuzela. This event is free and open to the public. Parking is free on the streets surrounding the stadium and in the Athletics Village parking garage located across Heyward Street from the stadium. Please enter the new facility on the Marion Street side.
If you have purchased season tickets already, we want to thank you for your continued support of our teams. If you are still deciding on whether or not to purchase season tickets, we would love to have you as a part of the Gamecock Soccer family. For the season ticket price of $25 for adults and $10 for youth (17 and under), you will receive admission to 21 regular season men’s and women’s home matches this fall. In addition, all season ticket holders will receive the season ticketholder gift. Last year we challenged our fans to help us have 1,000 season ticket holders. As expected, you all delivered and we are hoping to challenge you again to help us surpass that number for the 2016 season. Both teams are currently ranked in the National Top 25! The men host a free exhibition on Thursday, August 18th at 8pm and they open their season on Friday, August 26th versus Clemson at 7pm. The women’s soccer team opens their regular season on Thursday, August 25th versus NC State at 7pm. We hope to see you at Stone Stadium this fall for our seasons and hope you can join us next Tuesday at our Fan Appreciation Open House.
Please keep in mind we do try to host all the local clubs for a “club night” so be on the lookout for that from your clubs and your help passing these opportunities on to your players families would be appreciated.
