What is this region thing you speak of? I've been coaching 1A soccer for 19 years and have played 2 region games - it is overrated. (hey - in the last 5 years I think we've only played 2 games against 1A opponents) Imagine going into a season with the knowledge that you can't win a region championship, none of your players will be all-region, etc. Next, realize that every school you play will have hundreds of more students than your school - a lot of times more than 1000 more students. Do I have a solution to propose? Nope, except to say that maybe the league should adjust the rules, classes and regions based on individual sports - what works for football probably doesn't work for all other sports. Yupp, I know the headaches that would create for the league - but hey they get paid the big bucks, don't they? Thanks for putting up with my little rant, and hey - I hope y'all win your region - whatever that is!

So, B-C wants to have its cake and eat it too? What's good for the goose is good for the gander!
