I think my shots to goals allowed is like 13 shots to 1 goal.

im pretty sure in caulder's 23 saves they didnt count him picking up the ball..i was not there but i herd from there coach David Meyers he had one hell of a game

And DMB, are you questioning my abilities? Really though, they were all saves. And while I didn't see Carlisle's performance against Irmo in the championship game, I tend to think that that(Calder's) was the most impressive game by any goalie around the state last season. By far the best that I saw, though his performance against NW was no let down, either.

No my season low isn't 18, just in a game where we play a team that would be a good even match up. My season low is 0, my season high is 25, the 25 save game went into PKs and I stopped 4 PKs, including 1 in regulation.

What is the point of this post? I'm beginning to think just so you can show off your stat sheet.

Not at all, I was just curious as to how many saves most keepers make in a game. I'm not that kind of player. But I got my answer.

Most all of the close games I see have about 5-10 saves for the keeper. If that. Usually, if you are making close to 20 saves a game then the defense is lousy and the keeper is giving up several goals per game. Evenm if he is an outstanding keeper. You can have the best keeper in the state and if the defense is lousy it won't make much of a difference. If you are getting 18 shots as a minimum, and they are legit shots, and you are giving up very few goals a game, then you are probably better than what you think.

If you make 18+ saves in a game, its not evenly matched.
