I'm going to slide this point down into this thread so it's not blocking more important matters like all star games info, people looking for games or scores.

I was taking with Coach Garzon from May River and I were talking about how cool it would be to have a champions league type "tournament" that runs throughout the regular season. It would include State Champions and Runner ups. Coaches would have to be flexible with scheduling and it would require some cooperation but here is what we came up with.
(Sorry to 1A but it makes it a lot harder)

First window (First few weeks of the season)
The state champion hosts.
Game 1: 2A Champion vs. 4A Runner up
Game 2: 2A Runner up vs. 4A Champion
Game 3: 3A Champion vs. 5A Runner up
Game 4: 3A Runner up vs. 5A Champion

Second window (Mid/late March)
state champ hosts or coin flip
Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2
Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4

Third window (Mid April)
Championship
Pre determined site/coin flip/neutral site

This is what it would have looked like for this year:
Boys:
Game 1: Academic Magnet vs. Chapin
Game 2: St. Joesphs vs. Eastside
Game 3: Berea vs. Nations Ford
Game 4: Wando vs. Bishop England

Girls:
Game 1: Academic Magnet vs. Eastside
Game 2: Southside Christian vs. Hilton Head
Game 3: Bishop England vs. Lexington
Game 4: Indian Land vs. JL Mann

It would be pretty fun!

Thoughts? Could it happen?

Not that I would ever be in it, but I love the idea!
To get schools like me involved the neutral site Championship could be a bid process that would favor a place that would not be involved. I would gladly do that!

He and I spoke about it previously as well and it would be a great set of gaves and a good way to promote soccer across the state.

This would be cool if it could happen. I can try and contact Heineken about possible sponsorship 😁😁
