Coast FA would like to welcome everyone back to competitive play with our Coast Pre Season Classic set for August 22 & 23, 2020 in beautiful North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. With restrictions still in place as of today June 5, 2020 we want to extend financial assurances while still allowing teams to register and make travel plans. 1. NO ENTRY FEES will be due until August 8th. This policy is to make sure match play will be allowed by our governing bodies by August 22nd and to avoid issuing refunds in case match play is not allowed due to COVID restrictions. We are in hopes that August 8th will be ample time for some sense of normalcy to return. No entry fee will be charged if COVID prevents the tournament from being played.

2. NO STAY TO PLAY POLICY will be enforced. Families can make their own travel arrangements and can stay wherever they choose.

3. ALL MATCHES WILL BE PLAYED AT NORTH MYRTLE BEACH SPORTS PARK to limit the number of coaching conflicts and allow families with multiple players to be at the same complex. Eight full size bermuda turf grass fields ( no artificial turf in August due to heat ) plus all that the Grand Strand has to offer will create a great experience for your family.

4. VOUCHERS FROM THE 2020 COAST SPRING CLASSIC CAN BE USED to pay this event in full. If your team paid to play in our postponed April 2020 Coast Spring Classic you can use your voucher to cover 100% of the Coast Pre Season Classic entry fees. Well thought out! The stay to play thing that most of these tournaments do is crazy. I really wish the state orgs outlawed it.

It looks like we have the green light from SCYSA for our Coast Pre Season Cup on August 22 & 23, 2020. Registration is now OPEN and we are not asking for payment until August 8th. If you plan on attending the event it would be a huge help to us regarding planning if you would register your team right away.If you are coming from out of state please contact your association to be sure they will issue a permission to travel for your teams. We hope to see your registration come through soon.

We currently have 48 teams registered as of today and we expect to have a field of 100 + teams by the deadline. Many North Carolina teams are waiting on NCYSA to make their decision on permission to travel across state lines on Aug 7th before registering.I have posted the applied teams on our website and will update them every few days. Please plan on paying the entry fee payment with a credit card online no later than Aug 10th. If your team has a voucher from our postponed April 2019 event I will take care of the fee for your team manually.
