SCACA Coaches of the Year Boys Soccer - Phil Boyer, Daniel Girls Soccer - Shannon Champ, Wando
The 2022 SCACA Tallulah and Keith Richardson Distinguished Service Award was presented to Andy Heen of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. "Andy" has been a proud friend of the SCHSSCA for a number of years and we congratulate him on this recognition!
The 2022 SCACA Charles A. Stuart Athletic Administrator Award was presented to Tommy Bell of T.L. Hanna HS. Anyone who has attended the North-South Soccer Classic in Anderson the past six years can attest to the tremendous work he has done in Anderson School District Five and the SCHSSCA congratulates him on this most deserved honor.

On Monday, we had two excellent presentations by Walter Clapton (SC Youth Soccer Executive Director) in the morning session and by Dr. Jason Hamil (Academic Magnet Boys Soccer Coach) in the early afternoon time slot. Those were followed by the SCHSSCA Business Meeting and the SCHSL Rules Clinic conducted by Charlie Wentzky (Deputy Director).
The SCACA Business Meeting will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning in Room 202C.

Number of coaches that make 20 or 25 years in high school athletics is very low - congratulations to those recipients
March 2022 SCACA Board Meeting - submitted as July 2022 minutes $14,707.87 for SCACA salaries each month $27,746 on insurance - $2 million insurance for every coach in SCACA $13,000 for SCACA pad holders - doubled since last year $2,000 for SCACA T-Shirts Membership prior to Sunday was 6,086 - most ever prior to the Summer Clinic Only had more than 7,000 in 2019 - hopefully will hit that number this year Investment with Charles Schwab - lost a good bit this year but made a good bit last year ($200,000 in 2021 - lost in $200,000 in 2022) Had 14 new vendors this year - Cindy Jacobs has done a great job in that realm We are up in vendor numbers - other states are down $88,500 in scholarships to SCACA Coaches will be written in August 2022 $1 million + in SCACA scholarships since the beginning of this endeavor Melissa Nguyen is the office manager and has reports from all SCACA all-star games Sherri Smith represents the Middle Schools SCACA employees will be part of the state retirement system Change in voting with early voting possible throughout Sunday/Monday Go Army EDGE vendor has a booth we encourage you to visit
