Let me know you what all think about the first round of the 1A playoffs.

I predict 96 to beat Ware Shoals, and Dixie to beat Landrum. But in the 96/WS game it won't really matter who wins, because either one is gonna get wasted by CC, no offense their just that good lol. For lowerstate, I predict Williston-Elko to beat Lincoln. Gov School to beat Indian Land (who doesn't predict that one), and Blackville to beat lewisville pretty bad. I think 1st round is a pretty easy prediction with the exception of WS and 96, 2nd round will be a lot closer.

I'm gonna predict the same thing, except WS has a chance to beat 96 the entire game rests in the hands of #5 for 96, if he shows up to play then 96 will win, if not then their season's over.

1st Round:

96 defeats WS 3-2 (PK)
Dixie defeats Landrum 4-0
Williston defeats Lincoln 3-1
Governor's School defeats Indian Land 4-0
Blackville-Hilda defeats Lewisville 5-0

2nd Round:

CC defeats 96 8-0
Dixie defeats SSC 2-1 (OT) *UPSET SPECIAL*
Buford defeats Williston-Elko 4-2
Blackville-Hilda defeats Governor's School 3-1

3rd Round:

CC defeats Dixie 4-1
Blackville-Hilda defeats Buford 2-1

State:

Blackville-Hilda defeats CC 147-0

Yeah, that sounds about right. All except the state title game. It's more like Blackville-Hilda defeats CC 148-0.

just two comments:

1) dixie beating ssc by one is less likely to happen than ssc beating dixie by one. ssc is 6-0 in games decided by one goal, dixie just 3-4. but, it definitely will be a very close game, with both teams playing extremely hard.

2) no offense to blackville, but they have about a 0.00001% chance to ever beat christ church. i dont even think they can stay in the game. if that is the matchup in the finals, it would look about 7-0 CC.

we'll just see how the first round turns out, but the second round looks much more interesting.

Yeah SSC is gonna have to be way off their game in order to lose to Dixie. We were way off our game twice already against them and managed to pull it out so we're hoping to show them our real team next time.

I've seen from experience that it is very hard to beat a team thrice in one season, that's why I made that prediction. Also, we will keep it close against CC. We did in '02 (sort of), and we will again this year.

I wasn't playing in '02, so I don't really know what to expect.

Blackville has a few tough Lower state matches to get through b/f thinking of the playoffs!!!

*I mean State Championship.*

social_distortion2005- You guys deffinately have a strong team but I wouldn't be so sure that you're gonna have a walk over to the state cup. There's four lower state teams that all have the POTENTIAL to beat each other on any given day. So keep that in mind.

Has blackville played Buford this season...they seem a little too confident about getting in the championship game.

I think I'm more anxious than confident. Don't pay no mind if I seem to be over confident.

Ok here's how it's really gonna happen:
Everyone knows CC is gonna win Uper state so I won't even bother puting up those predictions.
Lower State:
Skip 1st round
2nd:
Gov. School defeats Blackville Hilda 1-0
Buford defeats Wiliston-Elko 3-1

Gov. School defeats Buford 1-0 (pks 4-3)

Christ Church - on any given day any given team CAN LOSE!!

So you're saying that the Governor's School who has lost to Buford twice has a better chance against CC than SSC? Just a thought. Depending on how the keeper is doing for BH I predict them to go all the way in the lower state. Good luck to everybody though.

-Also keep in mind that SSC kept CC scoreless in the second half last time they played so the potential is there for them to hang with CC.

Yeah, maybe they didn't score in the second half b/c the score was already 4-0. "Just a thought." I mean no offense or anything, but if my team is up 4-0, I would think my coach is gonna either put in second string or have the team work on their ball handling skills...I mean please correct me or inform me of what your last comment means based on what I just said DCA???

DCA it was really meant to be a joke, but I do think that CC won't win against whoever they face in the playoffs with as great a goal difference as they did last year. I still think they will definately win.

Think BHHS did a hell of a lot better than Buford did in the State Championship. 8-1?! What is that?! Come on you guys, you've got to find something else to rag on us about.

Hold up...No offense Social_Distortion but you can't compare or even talk about a BHHS team from 2 years ago!!! I mean that's like comparing apples and oranges (or something). You guys just have to bring something new to the table. You can't compare a State Championship from 2 years ago to the previous year. So many different aspects, players, set-ups, etc.....We will let THIS YEAR decide who's better in the Lower State for THIS YEAR.

We'll just see what happens.

Well, to be honest, I think anyone who gets to play on our field is in for a treat...our field is freaking beautiful... It's so pretty and greeeeen...

But seriously S.D.2005, dudeman's right. You can't compare our team from this year with the one from two years ago. The freshman that were on it then are juniors now. Most have gotten better while other's have stopped playing to their potential, not to mention that we had 8 seniors starting that year, all of which we lost (of course). Let the game decide who goes to the championship, not our egos.
