Flora played well. Had several shots early on that just missed. Defensive miscue on the second goal.
Psychologically it's hard to keep hustling when you go down 2-0 to a team like MB. But the falcons gave it their all. Got some younger talent in when it was obvious the game was out of reach.
Great group of kids played for Flora this year. Good attitudes, Worked hard. Few cards the whole season. Only had four returning varsity players.
After seeing this game, and knowing how Flora stacked up against BC and Dreher, it is highly unlikely either will be able to get past MB. They're significantly faster than either team, too talented, and playing too close to home.
MB will win lower state unless they get too cocky, or Dreher or BC play an error-free game.
