Always Right is actually right. Eastsides weakness is their keeper. They don't have a strong one.

I don't mean to resurect a dead topic but how come there is no talk of micheal barnhill from aynor? hes got a full ride to coastal for the keeper skills.

What club does he play for?

ill have to agree with thunder toe about the pickle....i heard he was quite good....along with ryan becker...i heard hes had some sick goals

barnhill plays for coastal soccer club i believe.

I hate to be pessimistic here, but I have doubts that Barnhill is getting a full ride on a soccer scholarship to Coastal Carolina. Soccerwise, Coastal is a very big school and the players on that team have very deep resumes. Go look at the keepers on that team and they are from all over the country with very strong backgrounds. Furthermore a full ride to any school is a very tought thing to get, let alona a good soccer school like Coastal. Unless Barnhill is ODP, or more specifically Region 3 ODP, it's doubtful to me the kid is going there on a full ride. Now this forum isn't the gospel on who is good and who isn't because there can be strong midstate and upstate bias, but unless this kid is on a top club team or ODP, I doubt this situation is true.

I play for Byrnes and thanks for giving props to our keeper steven picone. He is very solid and has the potential to be a top 3 goalie next year. But i have to say Rusche is better. Sorry steven is your reading this. I played with George on the 88 ODP team for two years and he makes some amazing saves. He also does well distributing the ball. We played South Aiken on Friday and Goose is awesome. We didnt really test him but his punts and distribution are great, and at around 6'4" any ball in the air is his.
