Faulkner is a basketball player and will not be playing tuesday. Instead there starting forward will be in goal.

If those guys are top 3, then C.K. Kirkland from Emerald has to be right behind them. He had a great showing in the state finals last year.

I believe 94 saw 0 CSC Burn games this season, and is not making much sense. The coach (Thad Miller) never coached the team before this season and was assigned to the team very late. Unbiased. Moody earned his position. He shut the Aiken Fire out in state semi-final game, and played very well. Not too shabby. There are no scubs (scrubs??) on that team, all 18 can start. Will was a great addition, along with Spencer, Ray, both Davids, and I hope I did not leave out any other new guys.

All this talk of Moody v Faulkner, the half dozen times I saw the CSC u18's vs the CSC U17's I though George Rushe was the best keeper on the field.

If Rushe was only 4 inches taller......he would be the best in state.

2004,

Height doesn't have much to do with it if the keeper has great mobility, reach and reaction. That leads to a false belief that the better keeper is the bigger keeper. The better keeper is the one that can keep the ball out of the net.
