you are right keepcoach01, I believe that keepers that play other sports get better reactions. Training all year can help but it can also tire the keeper out. Playing a different sport and not worrying about just goal keeping keeps your mind off of things.

Key word with that is IRMO and will wasnt even at state cup. Faulkner is better than Moody.

I am not going to take sides, i think they are both very good goalkeepers. Each of them brings something different to the table. Moody with his knowledge and experience, and Will with his technical ability. Both are great athletes, which is why both have had success at the high school level. As for the "IRMO" comment, i guess you thought i picked one to be better over the other? I never picked austin over will. I said "he (will) was in basketball so that stretched his commitment level very thin." I never said austin beat him out for all the minutes necessarily. I have trained both of them, and i think they are both college level keepers. So don't accuse me of being biased without probable cause.

Pappy, don't you go to Lexington? No need to be hypocritical.

I don't care how good a keeper is - anyone that rips his jersey off and walks off the field in the first half of a state final doesn't belong in a conversation about the best goalies...

It could be the Ben Lippen keeper, assuming it's the SCISA state final. I think that makes it Sweeten, right? I guess when you hear people talk about you being one of the best in the state, you get frustrated when you, and your team, give up 3 or 4 (don't really remember) in the first half.
