It should have been 3-0 Magnet, Fort got a lucky goal with a really high arch above the keeper's head. Magnet had an off night, and for a 1-A school to tie a AAAA school isn't bad, but Magnet should have waxed the field that night

I agree with 2Fast.The Magnet is a fine team regardless of classification. I am sure you could compete with many strong programs in all four brackets, but tonights game probably ended pretty even with both teams missing a few opportunities and alot of excellent, creative play at the midfield from both.
Mo, if you are going to come on this very public board and criticize where you were asked to play in a scrimmage against a quality opponent, the only people you will need to worry about megging will be sitting next to you.

I know this is my second season out of coaching, but fill me in, aren't scrimmages about learning what combinations of players work well together, what weaknessess may be exposed. I understand all coaches have different agendas when it comes to scrimmages, I (not saying I know all) looked as scrimmages to prepare for the regular season. I will most likely not go down in the annuals of "great coaches" but I felt we held our own when it came to the regular season. As faras "waxing, lucky, killed, dominated" all good terms, but each program each coach has what plan they may use in preparing for the season, I guess if I look back, we lost a lot more scrimmage then we "won", but to me it was developing a team for the season.
I like everyone else am very intrested in how things are progressing, but it what is done in May not Febuary that will be remembered.
Just a thought
