Who do you think will win the Strom Thurmond Tourney. The teams in it are Blackville-Hilda, Williston-Elko, Silver Bluff, and Strom Thurmond. Just wondering.
What happened to Columbia being in that tourney?? I guess they backed out and Blackville Hilda filled that spot....
Hmm...I'm guessing that it will either be Strom Thurmond or Blackville-Hilda since the other 2 teams aren't that good. I'll go with Strom Thurmond. Not to sure how either team is this year, but all you have to do against Blackville-Hilda is stop the "boom ball". All they do is kick it down the field and it's a sprint. If you stop that your golden. One of their captains last year (not sure if he's there this year) is their only playmaker down the field. Other then that they rely on the 2 big guys (HeHateMe & Escalade).
Why isn't Blackville-Hilda playing in that Barnwell classic. That tourney would seem like more of a competition for you guys to see what you really have.
We weren't able to get into that tournament this year. It was filled up before we got a chance. And hehateme and escalade are the same person. By the way, don't look for the boom ball that much this year from us.
yea when i played varsity in 9th grade, there were 8 teams in the barnwell classic and now there only allowing 4 teams. I don't know y the change.
Storm Thurmond will win it cuz silver bluff isn't that good.
Edisto played williston-elko this tuesday. they don't have noone really. All they got is a kid with hair like carrot top. Hes there best player. All williston does it kicks it down the field and the forwards will try to out run you.
thanks Edisto_striker. Hope your team does well in the B-WELL classic this year. You should have a good chance but its gonna be tough beating Wade Hampton I think. I could be wrong though.
