I noticed on the Schedule that Riverside High School had Dave Thurston as Coach earlier in season,but now he is not listed as Coach anymore.Did something happen to him again up there in Greenville? Seems like he just always runs into BAD LUCK!! just curious..anyone no??

From what I've heard he's in Canada on the lam. Bounced around quite a bit. Spent a long time here in the upstate and went to Myrtle Beach for a while. Left all places with ruffled feathers. Interesting fellow to say the least.

He did move back to Canada? Is that a for sure? WOW..he was a nice guy..Down here when he was with Coastal,all the Players liked him..he took a Team of average players at U17 and they won State that Year.He also had a girls team that never played Classic before and took them from Beginner players out of the YMCA to a first place team in the Classic Div..only here for a year before moving back to the Upstate..Dont no about ruffled feathers..I no he talked about getting screwed at GFC after merging his Club with DSA and Golden Strip..thats why he Came to the Beach...anyway,thanks for the input..i'll try to get in touch with him somehow..

I think you are miss reading a few of the posts. I do not think you will be able to contact him. From what I understand, he will be avoiding anyone from SC and the USA for that matter.

I think you nailed it......Good luck trying. I think he is coaching the prince eward sound classic allstars this fall!!! I hear it is in conjuction w/ CESA, OSSOC, DSA, USA Arsenal, and SURF . He did call and ask for his old white adidas hat so he could wear it backwards!!!! Oh yeah Southside HS is also in on the all star classics team.
