I just wanted to get some other people's opinions on Roni Canales. He is supposedly one of the best refs in the state, yet everytime I see him ref he misses some very blatent calls and also makes a lot of other mistakes. For all he is put up to be, I think he does a TERRIBLE job. Probably one of the worst refs I have had yet this season.

If memory serves me correctly, then Canales was the referee at the melee between Greenwood and TL Hanna a couple of years ago. If that was him, he proved then that he had couldn't control that level of soccer. Maybe he needs to go back and officiate some U12 games!

This is also the ref that did the State Championship game when RV got raped. I have never seen a ref do so poorly in a game, in fact I asked as a ref to never have to ref with him. He has a straight up attitude problem, and lets his feelings get in the way of his reffing. I give him a thumbs down!

I searched google and found out he has done some Mid-Atlantic League games and been the 4th official in some MLS matches. I don't understand how he got that far, I don't think very much of him at all.
