If anybody from Christ Church thinks that they proved anything tonight then they're full of crap. Granted CC possesed way better than we did, but we had 5 or 6 legit chances that could've been goals and they probably had 10. McCraw controls the whole game in the middle and it's kind of hard for a bunch of guys that don't play year around to keep up w/ somebody like that. It was a good game, and SCS played very good defense, although if CC could finish anything from outside the 6 they'd be a lot better. We had a tough game last night against Walhalla and it started showing for us in the last 10 minutes and they got a goal in the 72 minute. It was of course a crap goal though. It was off a corner and we had a guy on the far post and the ball got dinked around the 6 a little and our post guy cleared it out and the ref that wasn't in position to see the ball called it over the line. Anyways, we look forward to seeing them again at the upperstate finals.

Sumter defeated West Florence 3-2 in a game that got testy at the end. West Florence recieved 2 reds and 5 yellows, mostly for dissent. The game was not nearly as physical as many I have seen and I didn't really notice any blatant missed calls. I'm not sure exactly why WF was so upset. Things happen that fans can't see or hear so maybe somebody from WF will enlighten me.

ok, so who really won the sumter/west florence match? one post claims a wf win 4-1, and bdad claims a sumter win 3-2.

Anyone know the score of the Irmo/SV game and a report???

West Florence would be a much better team, if they had a coach that actually knew anything about soccer and could take control of their team. They act like a bunch of monkeys out their and the coach is just oblivious. I don't even think he can name 6 positions on the field.

They are a better team then South Florence (in my opinion) but South is better coached and can help teach the team in certain areas that they need improvement where as West was good at the beginning and have gone down hill b/c everyone knows their playing style b/c the coach can't help them out with that. So (in my opinion) coaches do play a big part in a team.

Hard fought game by both sides. Closer game than score reveals with both teams generating scoring chances. BL Keeper saved a PK in the 1st Half and a breakaway 1v1 in the second half. Heathwood missed a second PK in the second half.

Ben Lippen looked very good, possessed and moved the ball well.

Striker33, Id appreciate it if you wouldnt talk about our coach like that. He has been coaching for a long time and I think he knows what he is talking about. Id like to know why you think he knows nothing about soccer.

Christian Monroe and Sani Hadziametovic had the goals for Irmo, Christian in the first half and Sani in the second.

I have no doubts that Dixie can compete with SCS and I also don't doubt anymore that AM is better than CC.
-By the way, my post that I put for the summary of the SCS vs. CC game last night. Well some of the guys from Christ Church printed it off and copied it and hung it up on their walls around the school (from what I hear). Talk about needing to get a life. I guess that's just what they do instead of getting on here and making their own comments.

Do any of the CC players have a name on this board??? I don't ever hear them talk about their team or anything.

Who were the one's who got all the cards during the west florence/Sumter game? How long are the players with th reds out for...1 or 2 games...?

striker33, our coach has been coaching a while now is approaching 400 wins, so obviously he's doing something right. he can't play the game for us, we are the ones to blame for not putting the games away. so lets leave our coach out of this.

oh and bdad11, the game wasn't horribly officiated but the refs did let the game get out of hand, but sumter's #21 being the cockiest deuche i think i've seen kind of set the tone. then one of your fans tried to come the field saying he wants to fight us was real classy. ha an then on top of it all our guy got a red card for saying "#21 sucks". just trying to enlighten you.

Hey DCA, speaking of douche...that was one of the names you were called by the CC players...forgot to tell you that one. It is pretty sad that L-E Dude is in college and has no other life but to post on here about High School Soccer, but its ok...some people have social problems in college, maybe some friends are needed. and to answer Striker's question. I don't know for sure, but I don't think CC's coach allows them to post, but I do know that "FDR" is Fletcher McCraw's name on here. he was the one DCA was refering to...ya know the only one who ever does anything for CC, which is true. I mean honestly, and post this around your school if you want, please tell me, CC, if you think your strikers have anything...bc not one goal has been scored on us by them. Every one of them came from Fletch...2 PK's - awesome, one that hit a post and bounced out - hmm, and one legit goal where you beat our sweeper...see ya at upperstate

Sounds like the hostility between CC and SCS hasn't lightened up any. If you guys make it past Dixie then it would make for a very interesting upperstate championship match. I hope that you guys make it out on top cause you deserve it. good luck with the rest of your season. Oh, and we're(blackville) are going to do our best to take it to AM. Well in order to make it to state, we have to make it out of lower state and that means beating some stiff competition in buford, gssm, and of course the favorite AM. i believe that we have the talent and experience to beat all these teams and hopefully we can find a way to beat those very good soccer teams. But ive seen stranger things happen in soccer games. Things happen in the blink of an eye.

dropkick, i never said anything about #21's ability. he's quite the player but also quite the deuchebag. before anyone ever started talking crap he piped up an said "im going to usc b*tch, you want some? you want to fight?" we never heckled him at all until that. an then one of our players megged him an he fell on the ground an still found the time to talk crap. all i was saying was the kid has no class whatsoever. then towards the end of the game he played the ball off one of our players an told him "go get that b*tch, its your time" we were down a goal at this point , an then the ball boy threw him a ball an he swatted it away an said "no i want that ball down there", which was 100 yards away.

#21 is very cocky. When we played them, #21 was constantly talking crap. Even his own team members said that he was cocky and didn't like him. He plays like he's his own team...oh well, maybe if he talks crap in college, someone will teach him to shut his mouth...at least I hope someone does...

kid with all the skill in the world means nothing if he cant play with his team. Brian can play with others when he wants too but most of the time hes just trying to take everyone on or being too cocky to care about the rest of his team.

Dropkick33, talking trash and being cocky does not make a player good. being a team player and showing how good you are through your actions(not through your mouth) determine your ability and talent in the game
