I figured since 4A & 3A have this thread we should put one on here as well. Seeing how 1A and 2A aren't set in stone and can be a trivial time. What do you all think the 1A upper and lower state brackets should look like and how do you think the teams will fair....

I think Chelsea Blues has it correct with the exception of Bamberg and Blackville-Hilda being switched and add the #6 Lower state team as Williston-Elko (sp?).

I think that there will be 4 good games in the playoffs.

1. Blackville-Hilda vs. Bamberg (1st round)
2. Lincoln vs. GSSM (2nd round)
3. Dixie vs. SSC (2nd round)
4. Academic Magnet vs. CC (1A championship)

i have to say that i think that if SCS beats Dixie in the 2nd round that our game w/ CC will be a good one. they have beat us twice, 3-0 and 1-0, but the scores are not as reflective as how close the games were. in the 3-0 game, they had 2 PK's, and in the 1-0 game they didnt score until the 73rd minute of the game. CC has been playing really well lately, but i am positive that it will be a competitive match. don't underestimate the fact that anything can happen in a close game. but, we have to back it up on the field too, and we definitely aren't looking past Dixie-they always play hard and have a lot of speed, which makes them dangerous. good luck from Southside to everyone in playoffs.

^ I hope you guys or Dixie give CC a good run and beat them. It's time a new team represents upper state in the final game.

Upper State predictions looked about right, but what about this for Lower State:

1. Academic Magnet
2. Gov. School
3. Bamberg
4. Lincoln
5. Blackville Hilda
6. Williston Elko

Bamberg has lost way to many games to be seeded #3. I think they are like 2-6 and don't have a full schedule either which hurts them.

I think that the overall look on the seedings are accurate but there still are some games left that could make an impact on the seedings, the main one being the Blackville-Hilda vs. Bamberg game on Thursday. Whoever wins this game will probably be the 4th seed being that Lincoln beat Blackville and they deserve the 3rd seed behind AM and GSSM. If we would have beat Bamberg the first time and beat Lincoln about two weeks ago then we could have been talking about a 2 or 3 seed instead of a 4 seed. So i say again that there are some games left and let the commitees decide on the seeding because they know who deserves what seed and they have always been pretty fair on the seedings considering all the varibles on their selections.

If Blackville beats Bamberg then we will be placed ahead of Bamberg in the seedings because we have a full schedule and they don't. Am I correct?
